In my earlier posts I mentioned I would reveal my class projects at the end of the week, unfortunately, I will have to hold off on it as I needed to postpone my class for tomorrow.
Here in New Jersey there are still many without power and most of my customers are without power as well as having trouble finding gas. The time frame given to my family and others in this area who lost power is 7 – 9 days for restored power. My sister’s town has declared a curfew of 6pm – 6am until electricity has been restored. Although I am one of the fortunate ones who never lost power at home, I did lose power at my job at the church therefore I’m having a mini unplanned vacation. The bright side to this is that I’ve been able to spend time with my family who are still staying with us. The not so good side of it is that I’ve come down with a major cold – not good timing, is it?
My heart does go out to so many who lost their homes to storm Sandy.
