Today’s card is one I made for my niece whose birthday is tomorrow. I’m so proud of all her accomplishments and how she has overcome obstacles in her life! Because she’s special she deserves a special kind of card so I thought a center step card would be just right!
I used the beautiful Elements of Style stamp, my ink pads and blender pen for coloring. Wondering how I made the card?
Here’s the instructions: You need a 5-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock; With the 5-1/2″ part of the cardstock on top, line it up against the 1″ mark on the paper trimmer, place the blade at the 1″ mark and cut from 1″ – 6-1/2″. Turn the card over and repeat on the other side. Then place the cardstock on the Simply Scoring tool with the 11″ side lined up on top and score at 1″, 2″ and 6-1/2″ up to the cutting line; Repeat on the other side. On the section opposite the 1″ & 2″ scorelines, score at 5-1/2″ between the 2 cut lines (center piece). Fold all your score lines mountain fold (peak) except for the 2nd fold which will be a valley fold. And that’s it! Now all you need is to decorate it anyway you like and give it to a special person.
Leave me a comment and tell me what you think!
Till next time…
