Sometimes days become too busy so let’s take a break–close your eyes and imagine sitting down in a comfortable adirondack chair sipping some lemonade surrounded by beautiful flowers. Ahh.. doesn’t that feel relaxing? A book would be nice…how about a Stampin’ Up! catalog to look through for project ideas?
This image is part of the Peace Within stamp set which retires on May 31. I love coloring my images and this is a great stamp to do just that. One of the various ways you can color your images is by stamping your image with Stazon ink onto watercolor paper. Using your inkpads, press down on the lid to create a small pool of ink. Dip your aqua painter brush and start bringing your images to life. Remember to wipe your brush on a paper towel to remove the color when you’re working with different colors. In a future post, I will show you other tools you can use to create a watercolor look.
