I retired last month from my part time position as office administrator at my church after 18 years working in that capacity. It was good working there, but retirement is so much better!! Every night, I keep thinking I need to get ready for work the next day. I didn’t feel that special retirement feeling that I believe you’re supposed to feel . . . until this week (probably because I was sick for a whole week and a half!). Everybody is back in school and at work from summer vacation and I’m home and I don’t need to get up early, unless I want to. I must tell you… that special feeling . . .feels great! Although I’m still busy with my other job responsibilities, not having to be somewhere at a certain time everyday is a good feeling!!
