Painted Petals With A Touch of Vellum

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, although I have projects to share, I haven’t had the time to post.  I was busy preparing for my daughter’s baby shower that took place this past weekend. Her due date is in a couple of weeks!

Here’s a card using products from the Occasions Catalog.  I used the Painted Petals and the Butterfly Basics stamp sets and Butterflies Thinlits. I stamped the flowers on Whisper White cardstock and placed vellum over it.  I embossed the sentiment and the butterfly with White Embossing Powder. For the butterfly, I die cut a second butterfly out of vellum and placed it underneath the Tempting Turquoise butterfly. I placed a Bermuda Bay sequin and a pearl on top.

I loved the way it came out – made it especially for my wonderful daughter-in-law.  What do you think?
