Blended Bloom With Chalk Lines

I love everything about this card – the Blended Bloom flower colored with the Coastal Cabana Blendabilities and the great backdrop created with one of the images from the Chalk Lines photopolymer stamp.  After I colored the flower I cut around it and popped it with Stampin’ Dimensionals – love it. However, I don’t know about you, but although I like the look of images cut out …

Bloom With Hope Bubble Wrap

Today’s card incorporates the bubble wrap technique with a twist.  I’ve done the bubble wrap technique before where you ink up the bubble wrap you get in your packages with any color you like and stamp onto the card stock–the result looks like this.  Today’s next step, which I got the idea from Dawn Griffith, takes it to another level.  It uses the emboss resist technique …

Dotty Angles Thank You

Today’s card is a 3″ x 3″ thank you using the new Dotty Angles Photopolymer stamp. There are 2 stamps in this set (see the other one below). Not only are they great for cards but also for decorating gift packaging.  This is a quick and easy card.  Only 2 images and a couple of embellishments using the Petite Petal Punch, the flower from the …

Captain America Card

Captain America, XMen, Spiderman, Thor and all those kind of hero movies are some of my son’s favorites to watch (me, too!) so I decided to make him a Captain America card for his birthday.  It’s a very simple card to make especially when using the Circle Collection Framelits. I used the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th circle (from largest to smallest). The star is …

Hardwood, Mixed Bunch & Flower Shop

Here’s another card using the Hardwood Background stamp that I made for my sister who celebrated her birthday last week. I believe she really liked it! May is a popular month in my family with birthdays, anniversaries, and Mother’s Day – many cards to make! I stamped the card stock with Crumb Cake ink on a 5-1/2″ x 12″ Very Vanilla card stock and scored at …

Birthday Happy Watercolor

The Happy Watercolor stamp is one of my favorite sets in the Occasions Catalog, which runs through June 1.  The Decorative Dots embossing folder is one that we got during Sale-A-Bration for free, but will be in the new catalog starting in June!   Want to see another card with this set?  Click here. Don’t forget retiring items are only good through June 4, 2014 …

Summer Silhouettes Birthday

I’m ready for warm weather and these flowers from the Summer Silhouettes stamp remind me that it’s just around the corner – they make me happy.  I stamped the butterfly on vellum, colored it on the back with markers and sponged the bottom of the card with Daffodil Delight ink. Here’s another card using the Papillon Potpourri and the Field Flowers stamp set that will …
