Stampin’ Up! Little Additions Baby Card

I wanted to make a different kind of card for a friend who’s having a baby shower, so I decided to make this fun side step card using the Little Additions stamp set.   I got the dresser type idea from the very talented Jackie Topa.

Details for Side Step Card

  • Start with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ cardstock
  • Place cardstock vertically on trimmer at 2-3/4″ and starting at 1″ make a cut to 5-1/4″
  • Score right side at 1″, 2″ and 5-1/4″; score left side at 4-1/4″

I did a lot of sponging to give the card some depth especially the dresser drawers. I stamped “it’s a girl” and punched with the Word Window Punch and then cut the left side of it to make it even with the edge of the cardstock.

I would love to hear what you think of this card.  Leave me a comment.
