Today’s card features the By My Side stamp set. Having six grandchildren, I like having images of kids in my stamp collection. It’s an adorable set but it also has sentiments that can be used for various occasions.
There are sentiments for friendship, encouragement, celebration, and love. Who wouldn’t like to receive a card with one of these sentiments?

Card Details
Did you know that many times you can use parts of an image to create a background like I did on this card? I stamped the top of the girl’s hair on each of the three strips to create a more whimsical look.
- Card base – Highland Heather 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
- White cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Three Flirty Flamingo strips cut at 1″ x 3″ and stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink
- The circles were cut from the retired Layering Circle dies, but you can use any circle to create this card
- Sentiment and image were stamped with Memento Black. The image was colored with Highland Heather and Flirty Flamingo and the Medium light and Deep Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends.
- An iridescent jewel was added to her hair and rosy cheek was colored with Flirty Flamingo
