Everyday Jars Thankful Banner

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you had a great day celebrating with friends and family. We had a nice time at my daughter’s home with 22 people. I did most of the cooking of main dishes and I must say, I am EXHAUSTED!! Thank goodness, I can stay home and relax while I put up my Christmas decorations – something I do every year the day after Thanksgiving. It’s work, it’s messy, but it’s fun to see all my festive items again.

Thankful Banner Everyday Jars

In light of the holiday we just celebrated, I want to share with you today’s Thankful Banner which we made at one of my classes using the Everyday Jars. I made the jars my focal point and die cut letters from a retired Big Shot die that fit perfectly on the jars. The banner base was embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and the tags were stamped with the Timeless Textures background images. I used burlap ribbon and linen thread after all mason jars and burlap just goes together, right?

I am not a fan of Black Friday shopping at the stores and traffic wherever you go. That is not fun to me. I stay home put up my Christmas decorations, do a little shopping online and do a little crafting. What are you doing today?
