Here’s another card from my draft folder that we made in one of my classes earlier this year. Today’s card is a trifold featuring the Hello Ladybug stamp set.
What makes it a trifold? When you open the card, there’s another cardstock inside that also opens where you can stamp or write your message. You have 3 panels – front and the 2 inside panels.
This set has been around since the January – June 2022 catalog and was carried over to the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. The set coordinates with the Ladybug Builder Punch.

Card Details
- Card Base – Melon Mambo 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
- Basic White Cardstock – 4″ x 10-3/4″. This gets adhered to card base with opening to the left.
- The flowers were stamped with Melon Mambo ink directly onto front of card base.
- Circles were die cut with the layering circle dies.
- White cardstock was centered on card base. With it closed, I traced opening very lightly with a pencil. This allows me to stamp the hello greeting and leaf in the right location so it could be seen through the opening. After stamping, I erased the pencil mark.
- At the bottom of the cardstock, a ladybug was stamped with Memento Black and shell with Melon Mambo.
- Other ladybug wings were stamped with Melon Mambo ink and Pool Party. Dots stamped with Memento Black ink. Ladybug wings and body were punched with the Ladybug Builder Punch.
- Iridescent Basic Jewels were added to front of card base.
