I’ve have about 4 – 5 posts in my draft folder for a while now and today’s card is one of them. One of the colors has retired but thought I would share it anyway because colors can always be substituted.
Today we’ll take a look at the Peekaboo Farms stamp set. It’s a cute set. Every once in a while, I like to create cards with animals and having six young grandchildren these sets come in handy. The Peekaboo Farms has 11 cute images – 5 animals, clouds, bird, tails, and stone wall along with 4 nice font sentiments.
The animals are cute and these three are my favorites. I used this set earlier this year. Remember this card?
Card Details
- Card Base – Cinnamon Cider 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ (retired 2020-2022 In Color)
- Basic Black 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″
- Basic White 3-3/4″ x 5″
- Stamped all images with Memento Black
- Used the Picture This dies for the “Miss You” stitched circle – mounted with a Stampin’ Dimensional
- Fence colored with Stampin’ Blends: Light Cinnamon Cider, Bronze, Light & Dark Smoky Slate
- 1st animal colored with Light Basic Black, Light Cinnamon Cider, Light Crumb Cake;
- 2nd animal – Dark Soft Suede, Bronze, Light Crumb Cake, Light Basic Black;
- 3rd animal -Dark Soft Suede, Dark Petal Pink and Light Pink Pirouette (retired color)
I love the fence because you can use it and color it in various ways. Try cutting sections of the fence to make a smaller one or stamping the image twice to make a longer one especially if making a slim card. How about making the fence 3D by fussy cutting some of the stones and popping them with dimensionals? Time consuming but nice look.
