Today’s card features another card from my Giving Thanks Card Class. This time we have 4 retiring products in one card – Harvest Hellos, Buffalo Check, Country Home and the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder. Instead of posting spring and summer cards, here I am posting Fall cards, but I want to share these cards with you since these products are retiring and won’t be available for long. This greeting says it all – being thankful should be an everyday attitude, right?
Card Details
Buffalo Check is another one of my favorite stamps – I just love the cozy look of buffalo check in anything. Let’s get down to the details of this card.
- Card base – Soft Suede 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ scored at 4-1/4″ for a vertical side card
- The Pinewood Plank 3D Embossing Folder was embossed on Very Vanilla cardstock
- The Simply Thankful greeting is from the Country Home stamp. The bottom half of the sentiment was masked and stamped with Early Espresso ink. See yesterday’s post to see another card with Country Home.
- After stamping the Very Vanilla cardstock with the Buffalo Check stamp, the panel was adhered to the cardbase with tear & tape adhesive on the sides and bottom only. A pocket was created for the pumpkins
- Pumpkins were stamped with Cinnamon Cider ink on colored cardstock – Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Just Jade, Mango Melody and sponged the edges.
- Stem was stamped with Early Espresso and leaves with Garden Green inks
