I’m back with another card using the Flower & Field DSP and Approaching Perfection stamp. There are so many fun and pretty cards you can make with these two products. If you missed yesterday’s post, click here to see two cards using both these products.
I think this is a happy card – daisies always seem to brighten the spot. Among other things, daisies symbolize cheerfulness, innocence and purity and it just happens to be one of my favorite flowers. Pool Party and a green of this shade are also two of my favorite colors which is why I’ve incorporated these colors into my craft studio. I love this card! Not only is it a pretty card but it came together quickly.
Why was it a quick card?
Here are the details on the card:
- Card Base – Granny Apple Green (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-/14″)
- Flower & Field DSP (1-3/4″ x 5-1/4)
- Stamped sentiment with Granny Apple Green and candles with Pool Party inks
- Punched 2 medium daisies – one in Pool Party and the other in white; sponged white tips with Pool Party
- Adhered daisies with mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and added an opal round embellishment
That’s it! Quick, right? Patterned paper makes cardmaking quick and easy. I could’ve added Wink of Stella to the candles or made them different colors, but I chose to keep it simple and quick. Is there anything you would’ve done differently?
