Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over gathered this past Saturday at an Onstage Event where the new catalog was revealed. Unfortunately I was not able to attend. So sad! So I am anxiously waiting for this afternoon when Stampin’ Up! will post it online for all demonstrators to see. Can’t wait to see all the new and exciting stuff. As a demonstrator we get to see what’s coming way before it’s publicly revealed in June and pre order a month before it goes live. Now onto today’s card . . .
This cheery birthday card makes me happy. I love the colors and daisies – one of my favorite flowers. I must admit the Daisy Delight Stamp set and Daisy Punch are a favorite of mine. I’ve used this punch and stamp set so many times and never get tired of it. My favorite part of this card is the scalloped square focal point – the colorful sponged background, daisy, clear faceted gem and the punched leaves – love it all.
To create the scalloped opening in my square I used one of the non scalloped layering square framelits and placed it on my cardstock and then placed the next largest scallop square framelits on top and ran it through the Big Shot.
