This time of year here in New Jersey is pretty but messy with all the beautiful colored leaves. I made this back in September for my hostess who wanted a fall-themed workshop. I used the Daisy Delight stamp and punch.
The first thing you will need to make this arrangement is the daisy punch. You can choose whether to stamp them with the Daisy Delight stamp set or just punch different colored cardstock. At first I was going to go with just the cardstock but decided to stamp and oh, I liked that much better. It’s really a matter of preference.
You will also need glue (I used a glue gun), green cloth flower stems, whatever extra things you want to add to your arrangement, moss for the inside filler and a mason jar. I happened to find a small orange jar which was perfect.
I punched 3 daisies for each flower. I put 2 punched flowers together alternating the petals then twisted a small section on the top of the stem so it would lie flat on the flower; glued and then adhered the third flower over the twisted portion of stem. I did add a touch of glitter to the centers with the Wink of Stella glitter pen. Tied some jute twine around the jar and added a label with one of the sentiments from the Ribbon of Courage. Once your flowers are done, cut some of the stems to create different heights. You can make your arrangement as full as you like.
Matching Card
I also made a matching card to go along with the flower arrangement. I used the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder, then added my flowers and once again tied a bow with the twine.
Because I love daisies of all kinds, and loved how this turned out, I made one for myself which adorns my diningroom window with all my other fall decorations. Would make a great Thanksgiving table centerpiece – don’t you think?
