Can you believe January is almost over?! That means Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so I thought I would share a card I made several months ago to celebrate the occasion.
I created this card with the Painter’s Palette stamp set – different than all the other cards that I’ve made with this set. Click here and here to see other cards with the Painter’s Palette set. I used to work in an office and right outside my office was a bulletin board. Regularly I would find that my push pins were not where I had placed them but instead were used to create different shapes – it drove me crazy, but that was my inspiration for this card. I used the push pins image to create a heart. I stamped the pins in two different colors and then cut each one (unfortunately, no die available for this set). The crumb cake cardstock and ink was made to look like the cork on the bulletin board.
This is a 4″ x 8″ card scored at 4″. You could use a business envelope or better yet you can make your own envelope with the Envelope Punch Board. Cut a 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper or solid cardstock at 9-5/8″ x 9-5/8″ with the score line at 3-3/8″ to make your envelope.
Wouldn’t this make a fun different kind of Valentine’s Day card?
Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . . Brunie
