Today’s card is a 3-1/2″ x 5″ note card featuring the Jar of Love stamp set. It’s a nice card size to jot a short note. This card fits in a regular envelope or simply make your own with the envelope punch board which is what I did, but forgot to take a picture.
I stamped the jar, sentiment and flower petals in memento black ink, the water in soft sky ink and the flowers in Sweet Sugarplum ink. I stamped off the first image so it wouldn’t be too dark then I stamped the 2nd image in the same color full strength. The stems were inked with Old Olive. Speaking of stems, I stamped the short stem image first in the water and when I die cut the longer stem and flowers, I positioned them as close as I could to match the ones in the water. After I die cut the mason jars and flowers, I popped everything with a Stampin’ Dimensional and tied linen thread around it.
I love this set and all the things you can create with it. I’ve only scratched the surface. There are so many images – fish, flowers, fireflies, burlap, heart, ribbons, and 13 different sentiments – now that’s a lot! This set comes in a bundle and I would highly recommend getting it. The Everyday Jars Framelits die cuts all three jar sizes, the lid, the jar handle, ribbon, fish, and flowers which allows you to make your projects more dimensional and you don’t have to cut by hand.
Here’s another card using the smaller mason jar.
