Here’s another card using the Number of Years stamp and Large Numbers Framelits. For this card, I did not stamp the numbers, but instead die cut them from Rose Red cardstock and outlined it with Gold Wink of Stella to give it some sparkle.
I used the Oval Framelits to create an opening so when the recipient opens the card the number can still be seen. To write a message so it won’t be seen, either adhere a die cut white cardstock layer to the inside of the top portion of your card or simply write on the top portion.
Another element on this card is Washi Tape. Have you used it yet? It’s been around for a while. I don’t usually use it on my cards, and to be honest I didn’t know how to design with it at first or if I even wanted to use or needed it, but I have now jumped on the bandwagon and I must say that I’m enjoying using it. You can make a quick card with it. The Crushed Curry (yellow) Washi Tape used here is from the retired It’s My Party pack, but if you replicate this card, it could easily be replaced with another Washi Tape and if you’re not a washi tape person, you can replace the strip with cardstock. Although once you use it, you’ll be hooked as well.
