I made several of the same type of gift card holders as the one in this post, and here. I just changed the image. For these two cards I used the Get Your Santa On stamp set.
I embossed the Basic Black cardstock with the stars embossing folder and then sponged it with White craft ink for the chalk-like look.
I colored this one with the blender pens and stamped the background stripes from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp – another must have stamp! By now you know that I love this set and use it quite often. I also used a retired washi tape to keep the card closed.
Don’t need a gift card? Make it a regular card or simply use it for a birthday or any other occasion.
Tomorrow I’ll show you a couple of more gift cards and that’ll be it for Christmas. January 5 is the last day for the holiday catalog so make sure you get what you want before it is gone. The Get Your Santa On and Stars embossing folder will be gone.
The new Occasions catalog is coming out on January 6 with great new products and stamps. As soon as I get my order in, I will be sharing with you some projects. With all the Christmas festivities, I didn’t get a chance to really sit down and plan all I needed for classes until last night. Can’t wait till that brown truck drives up to my driveway and leaves my package with new goodies to play with!
