It’s not too early to start making Christmas cards. Just think . . . if you start now in a couple of weeks you can have all your cards ready to mail out. To get you started on ideas, here’s a card we made at my recent Christmas card class using the Wondrous Wreath stamp and Wonderful Wreath framelits. We used the square framelits to frame the wreath once it was die cut, then mounted frame with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Here’s a tip when using the stamp and framelits . . . they both come with a notch on the top. When you stamp your first layer with the lighter color ink, make sure the notch is towards the top. Take your darker color ink and stamp the second layer over the one you just stamped making sure the notch is still on top. This makes it easier to align the stamp. When you’re going to die cut the wreath place the notch on the framelit towards the top as your stamped image and you’ll be able to see how quickly you can find the right alignment.
The framelits come with other pieces you’ll love like the word Joy & Noel. Check out the image at the bottom.
Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . . Brunie
