It’s winter time . . . so let it snow! This cute little Center Step Snowman Card Frame was made at my December stamping club. Isn’t he adorable? Check out the Frosted Finishes Embellishment on the hat? Aren’t they gorgeous? (available through January 2, 2014).
With the exception of the hat and easel, I cased this snowman from Miriam Cassell’s project at Wrapping Up the Holidays at U Stamp with Dawn & Friends. Since I love snowmen, I fell in love with it right away and knew I had to make it. I love the idea of the snowman’s ‘hands’ holding the picture. I knew right away I would use a picture of my family when we went tubing (so much fun!) Don’t have a picture? You can stamp a sentiment like LET IT SNOW! or some other phrase if you don’t like snow!
I attached the snowman to a center step card base and then trimmed a little around the neck and head. I embossed the panels with the Northern Flurry Embossing folder and gave it a little bling with the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. For the hat, I used the Top Note Die and stamped the snowflakes with the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stamping Pad to give it some shine.
