Here’s a luminary that would look nice with your Christmas décor. Looks great lit with a flameless tealight but it also looks great if it’s not lit. I embossed the vellum with the Petals A Plenty Embossing Folder and used the Labels Framelit Dies for the opening on all 4 sides.
I stamped the Smoky Slate card stock with the branch from the Lovely As A Tree Stamp Set (great versatile stamp!) and used the Raspberry Ripple Stampin’ Marker to add some berries to the branch. I also used the Bird Builder Punch which I sponged and attached to the luminary with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I sponged the inside of the vellum and added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the outside. It’s hard to tell in the picture but the glitter gives it that extra bling of shine.
I was on a roll so I decided to make another one for my Thanksgiving table with a fall theme – I had 2 on each side of my flower arrangement. I had 5 families represented at my Thanksgiving table and I was planning to make one for each one to take home, but unfortunately, since I thought of it the day before I ran out of time – it was either food preparation or stamping (I really wanted to do the stamping, but I don’t think everyone else would’ve appreciated that!)
