Here in the United States we are celebrating Thanksgiving Day – a holiday that was proclaimed a national holiday in 1863 by President Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War to be celebrated each year in November. For many it’s a time to get together with friends and family.
Thanksgiving is a special day for me as I reflect on God’s goodness in my life. I am so thankful to Him for so many blessings–even the not so good things that come my way.
I am thankful . . .
- for having God in my life and the blessing of being His child
- for God’s protection in my life
- for the wonderful family He has given me
- for the church I attend
- for simple things that many times we take for granted like having a place to live, clothes to wear, food to eat
- for the friends I’ve encountered along the way
- for the opportunity to have a stamping business that I love
- for the people I’ve met that I would never have met through my business
- for creativity
- and for so much, much more!!
What are you thankful for? Leave me a comment and let me know.
Have a wonderful day as you celebrate Thanksgiving Day!
