Here in the United States, we are celebrating Labor Day, a federal holiday which started in 1894 to honor American workers. Labor Day is also a time for sales, the beginning of the NFL and college football season and is the unofficial end of summer which means back to school. For some, it’s the end of wearing white. It is the end of a carefree summer and the beginning of more structured fall and winter activities.
It’s also a great time to gather your summer pictures and start scrapbooking them or getting them ready to be scrapped at a later date.
As you organize your pictures, write a little something about each of your summer events so when you’re ready to get them in a book, you’ll know exactly what happened, where you were, what you saw, and fun things that were said. Believe me, you think you’ll going to remember, but after a while you do forget. I know I have.
