When looking at a stamping project, do you ever wonder . . how was that done? There are many wonderful stamping techniques that you can apply to your stamping creations to step it up a notch. Wouldn’t it be nice to join a technique club and learn many cool stamping and paper crafting techniques? If you live in or near the Bergen County area in New Jersey, come and join one of my technique hostess clubs and you’ll be on your way to people asking you, Wow! How did you do that?! A few months ago, at my technique club, we learned the polished stone technique and made this card. This technique makes a cool background. You can make the background as bright or as soft as you desire. I wanted a soft spring-like look so I chose Lucky Limeade and So Saffron colors. The best way to do this technique is by using the glossy white cardstock and working quickly when applying the rubbing alcohol and reinkers. I used the markers to color my stamp. I liked the way it turned out – what do you think?
