Here’s my next to last post about convention. I hope you have been enjoying them. Watch the videos for highlights of the convention – great time!!!
Our theme this year was “I Am…” which we then fill in the blank. When the doors open for our first General Session at convention, Stampin’ Up! employees are lined up on the sides cheering and high fiving as we walk in (some run) with excitement! The theme song this year was lip dubbed by the employees of SU (watch the video below) Wouldn’t it be fun to work at a company like that?!! People interviewed on the bus were on their way to tour SU’s Riverton headquarters – tons of creativity there!! The keynote speaker, Jason Dorsey, was phenomenal and funny.
- There were ‘marches’ for those who achieved in certain categories
- The Getaway Incentive Trip to San Diego was introduced with hints about animals and the Grand Vacation, a Western Carribean cruise was announced by the president of SU dressed as a fortune teller in the booth while Shelli (co-founder & CEO of SU and her daughter Sara asked questions
- There were also more presenters dressed in costumes to make a special announcement or during “Stampin’ Time” depending on what they were demonstrating.
- The swap with the long line of 3×3 was the one that I was in! There were 160 people swapping in one swap alone!!!
Who wouldn’t want to go to convention – it’s a fun place to be!!
