On June 12, 1880 a perfect baseball game was pitched by Lee Richmond. Do you realize how rare a perfect game is?! You don’t get to see too many of those games!! In addition to the pitcher being superb, he must also have fantastic defense–it’s a team effort! I love baseball–whether it’s watching it on tv, going to the stadium to watch the Yankees (it helps to have a great team to root for!) or even playing fantasy baseball with good friends! My dad, husband and son all share the same love although my dad roots for the OTHER NY team . . . but that’s okay he’s still a hit with me!
So what kind of card do you give the baseball enthusiast?! Here’s an idea for you…get those circle punches out and create a baseball theme card for that special dad or husband in your life who’s a winner!
Stamp the phrase over and over for a background then stamp it on a circle punch and pop it with dimensionals. Emboss the background after you have stamped it. Punch 2 circles, pierce holes and draw the lines with a marker. A simple card for a great dad! Come back all this week for more Father’s Day card ideas!! Are you making your own handmade card? Leave me a comment.
