On Saturday, I attended Onstage Local – a Stampin’ Up! event for demonstrators. Demonstrators all over the world gathered in different cities and countries and we had a good time. Among other things, we saw and played with new products, saw the new Occasions 2017 catalog and swapped cards with each other.
A lot of the swapping happens while we’re waiting on line to go in the event area and inside before the event begins. Because I was helping with checking in attendees, I wasn’t able to swap all my cards so I still have quite a few left. How would you like to get one? Read how at the end of the post.

Today’s card is one of 3 swaps I made. To create this card, I combined 3 stamp sets – Weather Together for the umbrella and sentiment, Touches of Texture for the border and Gift from the Garden for the rain boots. The boots represent two friends encouraging each other – that was the thought that went into this card. I used the Umbrella Weather Framelits to die cut the umbrella, stamped the flowers on the umbrella and popped it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a little bit of the gold wink of stella to the center of the flowers. The Wink of Stella has become my favorite glitter – I love the shine it gives without the mess.
