Best Thoughts – Thanks

Today’s card features the Annual Catalog host stamp Best Thoughts. Hydrangeas is one of my favorite flowers and I just noticed some leaves on my plants the other day – can’t wait till they’re in full bloom. Meanwhile, I’ll create one on paper. I stamped the image with Basic Black ink and added color with my blender pen. I also applied some Clear Wink of Stella on parts of the flower.

Best Thoughts and Hello You

For the thanks, I used Watercolor Wash background stamp and the Hello You Thinlits. To create a watercolor look, I colored the stamp with Pear Pizzazz, Crushed Curry and Marina Mist and then sprayed the stamp with water and stamped onto Shimmery White cardstock. I placed the ‘thanks’ thinlit on the stamped cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot. For added depth, I die cut 2 more ‘thanks’ on regular Whisper White cardstock and adhered all 3 together.

I’m playing along with the color challenge at Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. This was the perfect combo for my card.

Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . . Brunie
