Moon Lake Birthday

This image from the Moon Lake stamp set with the tree and canoe has such a calming affect, doesn’t it? I wish I was there right now instead of surrounded by snow and ice.  I’m tired of this weather!! I want spring, flowers and warmth! Of course, with that comes gardening work outside which means less crafting . . . hmm. . . I’m torn.

Now about the card . . . I colored the image with my blender pen and various inks.  For the top of the card, I embossed the sentiment and stamped the background image from the Butterfly Basics stamp four times to give it some texture. Here’s a close up.

Check out the other Moon Lake card I made here . . . I didn’t realize I used the same color cardstock. I guess I’m attracted to those colors for this image.

Did you know I love to get comments? Sometimes it feels like I’m ‘talking’ to myself . . . we don’t want that, do we? You know what happens to people who talk to themselves. . . off they go onto the wild blue yonder. . . . Soooo what do you think?  Leave me a comment below and I’ll be staying right here and not off to anywhere else.

Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time .  . . enjoy the sunshine and warmth if you are one of those fortunate people . . . and for the rest of us . . . hang in there . . . Brunie
