Today is World Card Making Day where crafters around the world create handmade cards. What are you doing today to celebrate this fun day?
Here’s a card I would like to share with you using the Choose Happiness stamp set – one of my favorite stamp sets in the new catalog! The first thing that caught my attention was the sweet sentiment and the wood banner (not shown here). It was made using the Emboss Resist technique. Don’t you just love the colors on this card? Here are the steps to make this card:
Card Details
- Stamp the flower images with Versa Mark and pour Clear Embossing Powder over flowers. Use heat tool to melt powder.
- Sponge card stock with So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon. Wipe off excess ink with paper towel.
- Stamp branches with Old Olive ink
- Stamp sentiment with Chocolate Chip ink on Vellum card stock
- Stamp bird with Lost Lagoon ink; add eye with black Stampin’ Marker
