Wildflower Meadow Birthday

I know it’s been several days since I’ve posted anything here – I got back from vacation last week and I’ve been trying to catch up on things.  As soon as I got back home, I went to my studio to whip up 10 cards that I needed for this past week alone . . . 4 birthdays – for my mother-in-law, my 3 nieces; 5 sympathy- for friends, and 1 wedding anniversary- for my son & daughter-in-law who celebrated their 5th anniversary (time flies!). I sure missed stamping in my studio while I was away, now don’t get me wrong, I loved being on vacation and doing some fun things (more on that later!) but I was itching for some stamping! Whenever I was at a store near a card rack I would just browse and think to myself I could make this and wanted to run to my studio and stamp  . . . but I could not . . . and had to be patient till I got home.

So here’s the card for my mother-in-law – so sweet, isn’t it?  I love the soft colors.  I used the Wildflower Meadow stamp and coordinating embossing folder. Since I didn’t want the entire image, I used my markers to color what I wanted. I wanted the bird popped up on the left side so I stamped the bird separately and cut around it. For the happy birthday I used the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp – love the cursive font stamps. I used my Big Shot for the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder (part of this week’s deals – see below).

I LOVE my Big Shot and all the nice things you can do with it – I use it a lot!! Have you heard of the Big Shot & Bundles promotion available this month only?  Check it out here.

Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . . Brunie.
