Secret Garden Stamp
Cards, Mother's Day

Secret Garden Birthday

I wanted a ‘springy’ (my own word for spring-like) type of card and so I decided to use the Secret Garden stamp set and use the Secret Garden Framelits to cut them (better than scissors!)  Since my mom was spending her birthday in the hospital, I thought she should have some bright colors to cheer her up.

Secret Garden Stamp

I started out with a center step card so I could add lots of flowers.  I embossed the Whisper White cardstock with the Lattice Square embossing folder and sponged it with Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive inks.  I stamped the flowers with VersaMark and embossed with white embossing powder and highlighted some of the flowers with markers.

So what do you think?

Till next time . . .

  1. […] I want to share with you one of the cards we’re making at my technique club this month using the Reinker Spread technique – it’s cool and works like magic! My first club loved it and I know my second club will love it as well when we meet next week!  I used the Secret Garden stamp set – loved this set! The best thing about it is that you can purchase the matching framelits which will cut the flowers for you – no need for scissors!  See another card using this set here. […]
