Every paper crafter needs a paper cutting tool of some kind for their paper creations. So what kind of cutter do you need . . . the Stampin’ Trimmer or Tabletop Paper Cutter?
In this post I reviewed the new Stampin’ Up! Trimmer and and now it’s time to review the Tabletop Paper Cutter. First of all, let me just say that I own both paper cutters and love them both!
Why, you ask? Here’s why. The Stampin’ Trimmer is perfect to take along with you wherever you go. And Stampin’ Up!’s new trimmer cuts and scores without having to remove the cutting blade! It has a wide surface so there is no need to extend the ruler. It’s simply great!
The Tabletop Paper Cutter has its own great features. Although it is less portable than the Stampin’ Trimmer (measures 17-3/8″ x 7-1/8″ x 2-3/4), it can still be taken anywhere you want to take it. Here are some of the reasons why I love it!
- It cuts cardstock without fraying
- it is very precise – you can cut 1/16″ strips with no problem
- it has a safety blade which is made of stainless steel
- has a trimmer handle covered in rubber which means no slipping
- it is made of durable plastic
- easy storage with its detachable measuring arm and handle which can be stored in the back of the cutter
- easily cuts more than 1 paper at a time (great for when you’re making a stack of cards!)
- has a 5 year guarantee (wow!)
So there you have it . . . I would definitely recommend this paper cutter for your paper crafting projects!
