Merry Mice

Merry Mice is such a cute set and I had fun creating this card with this trio of mice.

Merry Mice

As I’ve mentioned before I love making square cards. The only drawback to a square card is that you pay a little extra postage for it, unless you make a smaller square card than a 5″ x 5″. My card today is a 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ card which is perfect because it stays within the regular postage and fits in a regular envelope.

Card Details

  • The top portion was punched with the confetti stars punch and gold glimmer paper was placed behind it.
  • The mice image was stamped with Archival Black ink and colored with my Aqua Painter (see colors below)
  • The baker’s twine trio from the holiday catalog was used for the ribbon . . . (one of my holiday catalog favs)
  • The sentiment was embossed with gold embossing powder

I like making glittery Christmas cards (without the mess) so after I took this picture I decided I wanted more glitter and added Clear Wink of Stella to the ornament and lights for that extra sparkle. Love it! Merry Mice was another item from the Holiday Catalog on my list of favs.

Which is your favorite stamp set from the Holiday Catalog? Are you using it for your Christmas cards this year? I would love to hear from you – all you need to do is leave me a message below.

Thanks for stopping by . . . till next time . . .Brunie
