I like combining several stamps and creating a scene and so that’s what I did for this card. I stamped the car, couple & sentiment from Beautiful Ride, the tree from Sheltering Tree and the stars from Balloon Celebration. Actually, when I stamped the stars with VersaMark to emboss with white embossing powder, I thought I had selected the closed stars but instead they were the open stars image. That was the last thing I stamped after I sponged my card so I decided to leave it as is – I didn’t want to start all over again. I think they look good anyway.
I started with a piece of white cardstock and sponged with Marina Mist and Island Indigo inks for the night sky and the grass with Garden Green ink. I’m always amazed at how you can transform a blank piece of cardstock into a work of art. I LOVE stamping and it brings me joy to make cards and give them away.
This makes for a nice anniversary card, or a Just Because to your sweetheart, doesn’t it?
