Today’s card features the Watercolor Wings Stamp set and the 6″x6″ Fluttering Embossing Folder. I like the way this card turned out–the colors (Bermuda Bay – one of my favorite colors), the embossed and die cut butterflies and the dots on the top which gives it a festive feel. After I embossed the butterflies, I sponged White Craft ink over it. The silver cord trim was part of the Holiday catalog but is now retired. I do miss it.
I delayed buying the Watercolor Wings when it first came out in the Annual Catalog – I thought I wouldn’t like it – well, I was WRONG! I love the many color combinations you can make with the butterflies and the other images and greetings. The best part of it is that there’s a butterfly framelit to die cut it with – actually 2 of them – the Bold Butterfly Framelits and the Butterflies Thinlits.
