Cards, Mother's Day

Wonderful Mother Card

Here’s a Mother’s Day card we made at my Celebrating Special Times Card Class last week that was inspired by Connie Collins’ birthday card.

I brayered the Pink Pirouette Lacy Brocade embossed card with Whisper White Craft Ink and sponged the flowers and sentiment with Chocolate Chip ink.  I used a lot of my favorites on this card – the 5/8″ Flower Trim, the Crochet Trim, the Very Vintage wheel (inked over the flowers), the Blossom Punch and one of my favorite retired stamp sets.  I think all these supplies are so dainty and feminine – love them!  This is the card I’ll be giving my sweet mother-in-law.

At the end of the week I’ll show you the one I’ll be giving my mom.  I would have given her this card but since my sister attends my classes she made two of these and will be giving it to our mom – can’t have two of the same for the same person, can we?  . . . especially since we can make another original!

Need it for a different occasion?  The sentiment can easily be changed to suit your needs.

Till next time . . . have a blessed day!
