Stampin’ Up! Just Believe

I needed to make a special card for a sweet and special elderly couple who used to attend my church before they moved away and who are going through a rough time with the husband on hospice and the wife dealing with cancer.

Just Believe

I decided to use one of my favorite stamp sets, Just Believe for this card.  I like the softness of the flowers.  I colored the flower image with markers and then sprayed a little bit of water to create a watercolor look. I used VersaMark for the circle flowers on the card base and I double embossed by embossing the Lucky Limeade cardstock with the woodgrain embossing folder and then applied VersaMark and clear embossing powder all over the dry embossed cardstock and used the heat tool to give it a shiny look. I’m not sure if you could see the shine but it’s there.

Here’s a side view of the card where you can see I sponged around the sentiment and used Stampin’ Dimensionals.
